Websites for Analytical Ultracentrifugation
- RASMB. Reversible Associations in Structural and Molecular Biology. Homepage maintained by Dr. Walter Stafford, includes a FTP site where most of the current software used in analytical ultracentrifugation is located.
- SedAnal. SEDANAL is a software package developed at BBRI that is used to analyze monodisperse, non-interacting, self-associating and hetero-associating systems by sedimentation velocity and sedimentation equilibrium. For sedimentation velocity analysis, time difference data are fit to numerical solutions to the Lamm Equation to eliminate time independent systematic errors inherent in the data. For sedimentation equilibrium analysis, data sets are combined for global fitting to various models. SEDANAL comprises a Model Editor that allows nearly any arbitrary association model to be used for fitting. SEDANAL also carries out DC/DT (g(s*)) analysis and has an implementation of BIOSPIN to analyze equilibrium data to produce molecular weight averages as a function of local concentration.
